I know exactly how you feel. After being off a bike for about 15 years I took the plunge. It seems that there is more traffic, more obstacles, and more hazards then before. It took me a while...but I am now finally able to relax. I think the turning point was when I had to react to a situation....and I did. Once I realized that my reactions were still there, it was easier to relax. Other things that may help...ride with a partner. This was a great help to me. Also, take the MSF course. I haven't yet...but hope to.
